Happy Birthday to Max.
a year ago today max was born. Wondering if he has siblings? wonder if they are as sweet and funny as max?
Today after teaching an 8am yoga class, jeremy took max out for a walk around central park, we went around the pond at 110th st on the east side, then back through the woods to get home... in the woods max got really excited about a tree, so much that he dropped his branch that he had been dragging and playing with for the last half mile. It was the kind of excitement that max shows when there is a raccoon in a tree at night... "not during the day max." jeremy said, then looked up. there was a hole into the hollow tree. in the hole a nose and a furry little face.
max found the raccoon home.

Happy 1st birthday to my Granddog MAX. Happy birthday beautiful eyes, beware of racoons in trees. I remember playing peek a boo years ago with Rocky Racoon. I do believe your daddy was with me. You share a great day. Grandma 40 yrs ago today started this chain of events that brought you in to our lives by moving to America. Cousin Alexis is 26 today, and Uncle Pete in England is 59. Wish we could all share cake together. Pats hugs and doggie cake to you.

Keep walking on those hind legs puppy! You've got David Bowie eyes, so try not to break too many doggie hearts this year. Keep up the great love/work of protecting Jeremy from wild raccoons and anything else with fangs & claws that might jump out of trees.
